"Jesus is Coming" - Lyrics - George Paul

Key FM

Verse:

A day will come when Christ returns

Depending from His throne above

The whole world will

Behold the King

Surrounded by His power and love

A mighty trumpet will be heard

It sound will reach across the earth

All those who died

With faith in Christ

Will leave their graves and rise to life

Chorus:

Jesus is coming

Jesus is near

Raise up your head

There's nothing to fear

When heaven calls us

Together we'll rise

And welcome our saviour

Beyound the skies

(Instrumentation)

Verse:

Life will continue as it always has

People will work and make their plans

Then in a moment

Without a warning

The Lord will gather those who are his

The ones still living will be changed

And lifted from his world below

Together with the risen saint

They'll join the Lord and never part

Chorus:

Jesus is coming

Jesus is near

Raise up your head

There's nothing to fear

When heaven calls us

Together we'll rise

And welcome our saviour

Beyound the skies

Verse:

Be ready now stay awake

Let nothing pull your heart away

Keep trusting Jesus through every test

He will fulfilled what he has said

The hour is hidden from our eyes

But His return is surely coming

Chorus:

Jesus is coming

Jesus is near

Raise up your head

There's nothing to fear

When heaven calls us

Together we'll rise

And welcome our saviour

Beyound the skies

Verse:

Choose Jesus while you still have time

Walk in His truth and follow his light

Let His forgiveness make you new

And give your whole life to the Lord

There will be no death or pain

No broken hearts or tears again

We'll see the One who died for us

And live forever in His love

We cannot name the day or hour

But christ will come in holy power

Until the moment He appears

We'll wait with faith

For He is near

Outro:

Jesus us coming

Jesus is near

Our Lord and King

Will soon appear
