"Pray for Me" - Lyrics - Sunvera Scott

Key EM

Chorus:

When you knee down to pray

Please don’t forget my name

Lift my name before the father

Tell him my heart is heavy weary

I cannot make it on my own

Oh pray for me

Oh oh pray for me

Oh Please pray for me

Oh pray for me

Oh please pray for me

Verse:

Some are fighting battles silently, Some are crying in the night

Some are carrying heavy burdens

Trying hard to make it through

So before you judge my journey

Before you turn away

Remember i am still your brother

And i need your prayers today

Chorus:

When you knee down to pray

Please don’t forget my name

Lift my name before the father

Tell him my heart is heavy weary

I cannot make it on my own

Oh pray for me

I cannot make it on my own

Oh please pray for me

Lift my name before the father

Oh pray for me

Oh oh pray for me

Oh please pray for me

Bridge:

So lift my name before the father

And don't just pray for what i need

Pray that i don't lose my faith

Pray that i dont give up in the valley

Pray that this pain will not change my heart

Pray that i will still worship through the tears

When i have nothing left to say

Ask God to carry me the rest of the way

Chorus:

And when you knee down to pray

Please don’t forget my name

Lift my name before the father

Tell him my heart is heavy weary

I cannot make it on my own

Oh pray for me

Oh oh pray for me

Oh please pray for me

Oh pray for me

Oh please pray.... for me
